The final resting place of the Coastal Trader "Kathleen" which sat on top of the reef until Cyclone Uma rooled her off the edge of the reef in 1987. This is a deep dive for experienced divers and photographers. Some current can be expected here.
A great dive for the beginner and the experienced diver alike. This one is reliable for schools of big and small fish and features two bommies (Coral formation filled with small grottos) packed full of marine life. Another interesting feature is the big dropoff which is the place to spot barracuda schools and even the occasional turtle.
At night the place comes alive as the day shift settles in and the night shift comes out. A resident turtle is best spotted at this time.
