As Vanuatu's only PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Dive Resort, Big Blue Vanuatu will help you with learning to dive or continuing your dive education. With an experienced, knowledgeable, up-to-date instructor team, led by a PADI Course Director and a PADI Master Instructor, both on staff full-time, we can take you all the way from novice to instructor, and beyond!

Discover Scuba Dive - Pool-Only Experience - FREE
Blow some bubbles in a safe, relaxed pool environment. This pool experience will introduce you to the equipment and techniques used by scuba divers, all under the watchful eye of our dive staff.
You only need a moderate level of fitness, and shouldn't have any problems with asthma.
We conduct these experiences every day at 9:30am. All equipment is included. Bookings are essential.
Discover Scuba Dive - Ocean Dive - cost: Vt8,000
After completing your Discover Scuba Dive pool experience, come diving with us to one of the amazing dive sites along Pango Cove.
One of our instructors will escort you while you explore the reef and see the incredible diversity of fish and coral. And you may even meet one of the friendly turtles that frequent the area, are even be introduced to our resident dugong who may just stop to say "Hello!"
To come to the ocean you must have completed the pool experience first. The dive leaves at 1pm and returns at 3pm. All equipment is included. Bookings are essential.
PADI Open Water Course - Learn to Dive! - cost: Vt35,000
Earn the most-recognized diver certification in the world - the PADI Open Water Diver certification. Complete some dive theory and pool training and then enjoy four open water dives accompanied by your instructor, in the ocean, to complete your training.
A new Open Water course starts every day, only takes a few days to complete, and the price includes all training materials and all equipment.
And if you are in a hurry to get started, you can even finish all your dive theory online before you get here (just follow this link to our e-Learning page) You will have more time for your holiday - you will only need to complete the pool and ocean dives while you are here.
(Note that if you complete the e-Learning module of the Open Water Course online, then the fee for the Open Water Course is only Vt30,000).
PADI Advanced Open Water Course - cost: Vt40,000
Continue the adventure by completing your PADI Advanced Open Water course over two days, while diving the clear warm waters of Mele Bay. Just five dives in total and you will be on your way to opening up new and exciting dive adventures!
You will complete training in Deep diving and Underwater Navigation, and then you choose three other types of diving to sample - select from Underwater Digital Photography, Search and Recovery, Night, Wreck, Drift, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and many more.
The price includes all dive equipment and five open water dives. (If you are bringing your own dive gear just deduct Vt5,000 from the course cost). If you are completing the Night dive add Vt1,500 for torch hire and cylume.
PADI Specialty Dive Courses - cost: Vt35,000
What better way to enjoy more of the underwater world than by completing a PADI Specialty Dive course. Choose from Night Diver, Wreck Diver, Digital Underwater Photography, Drift Diver, Underwater Navigation Diver, Search and Recovery Diver, and many more! And ask us about our 'Specialty of the Month'... see what we have planned!
These specialty courses are all "hands on" and you will spend most of your time in the water and only a little time on the theory.
The price includes all dive equipment and five open water dives. (If you are bringing your own dive gear just deduct Vt5,000 from the course cost). If you are completing the Night Diver specialty add Vt1,500 for torch hire and cylumes.
